Contains BAC
Available with benzalkonium chloride (BAC), an antimicrobial agent. In-vitro research shows it is effective against Actinomyces viscosus and Streptococcus mutans.
High Viscosity
High viscosity, 35% phosphoric acid etchant that is ideal for enamel etching
Blue Color
Blue in color for easy visualization and contrast.
Easy Wash Off
Etchant rinses away cleanly and quickly, leaving no residue to interfere with bonding.
Ideal for Selective Etch
Select HV Etch’s high viscosity offers precise placement, making it ideal for the selective-etch technique. However, it can be used for the total-etch technique as well.
Easy Handling
Excellent handling allows greater ability to control and place material.
35% Phosphoric Acid Etchant with Benzalkonium Chloride
Select HV Etch is a 35% high viscosity phosphoric etch available with Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC), an antimicrobial agent.
Its high viscosity offers precise placement, making it ideal for the selective-etch technique. However, it can be used for the total-etch and self-etch techniques as well.
Select HV Etch is specially formulated for maximum working and handling, pin-point placement performance, and eliminating run-on onto the dentin surface.
4-syringe pack of Select HV Etch w/BAC provides approximately 120 applications (30 applications per 5g syringe).
30ml Bulk Syringe Kit of Select HV Etch w/BAC can provide approximately 195 applications. The kit also contains 30 disposable syringes and 30 tips.
30ml Bulk Syringe of Select HV Etch w/BAC can provide approximately 195 applications.
Unique Benefits:
Rinses away cleanly and quickly leaving no residue to interfere with bonding
Blue in color for easy visualization and contrast
Microretentive surface characteristics that are necessary for successful bonding
Clinical Significance:
Contains benzalkonium chloride (BAC), an antimicrobial agent.
In-vitro research shows it is effective against Streptococcus mutans
NOTE: Inclusion of BAC has not been shown to correlate with a reduction in secondary decay in patients.
In-vivo clinical studies to evaluate the effects of BAC on oral bacteria or caries have not been performed.
