Biomechanical dentin replacement with packable handling
Fibrafill® DENTIN is a radiopaque, light-curing bulk-fill composite reinforced with dispersed sub-micron fibers.
Engineered as an internal dentin substitute for extensive restorations, it combines exceptional fracture toughness with precise, condensable handling.
Material Function
Short-fiber bulk-fill composite engineered for structural dentin replacement.
Typical Indications
Class I, II and V restorations, deep cavities, post-endodontic restorations and core build-ups.
Occlusal surface
For cuspal buildup and the occlusal surface use any conventional aesthetic composite.
Why use DENTIN as dentine structural replacement
Reinforced with sub-micron fibers, Fibrafill® DENTIN stops micro-cracks at the origin to deliver true dentin-like toughness in high-stress restorations.
Creates barriers against crack propagation
Randomly oriented sub-micron fibers create a 3D mesh which increases the energy a crack needs to start and continue through the composite structure.
Substitutes the missing dentin volume
The packability engineered for controlled placement in large preparations and core build-ups.
Core element the restoration
DENTIN forms the reinforced internal base for the anatomical shape and the occlusal surface is then completed with any conventional aesthetic composite.
Clinical application
Large Restorations
Rebuilds the internal volume before shaping anatomy
Use DENTIN where a substantial amount of dentin has been lost and a stable condensable base is needed below the final aesthetic composite layer.
Core Build-UPS
Create a reinforced foundation for the next restorative step
The short-fiber structure and condensable handling make DENTIN suitable for core build-ups and post-endodontic reconstruction of internal tooth volume.
Use DENTIN independently or as part of the Fibrafill system
Select only the roles the preparation requires.
Fibrafill materials are compatible with dimethacrylate-based adhesive systems and resin composites.
1- Adapts to the cavity floor and internal irregularities.
2- Reinforces vulnerable areas with a continuous membrane.
3- Replaces the remaining dentin volume with a condensable base.
4- For cuspal buildup and the occlusal surface use any conventional aesthetic composite.
